Airi Tozaki is counsel specialized in corporate law and is Co-Head of the Japan Desk in France.
Airi Tozaki is admitted to the Paris and New York Bars, and was previously admitted to the Tokyo Bar. She has over fifteen years’ experience as an attorney in these three countries.
As Co-Head of the Japan Desk and member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Department in Paris, she advises Japanese groups on investments and mergers & acquisitions in France. She also assists Japanese subsidiaries in France in their reorganizations, in joint ventures, and in other various areas.
Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Airi worked in the legal department of the International Energy Agency (an OECD agency) in Paris, and previously in US law firms (notably McGuireWoods LLP) in New York for five years, in mergers & acquisitions and financing. She began her career at a Japanese law firm in Tokyo where she practiced general business law for five years.
Airi holds an LL.M. in Corporate Law from New York University, an LL.B. from Keio University (Japan) and is a graduate of the Legal Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan.
