LPA-CGR avocats (Shanghai) advised TRESCAL on the acquisition of a majority stake in Suzhou LECC Testing Technology (LECC), a company founded in 2011 and headquartered in Suzhou in the Jiangsu province of China, that employs over 120 people and performs calibrations in 20 accredited domains for a diversified client portfolio encompassing over 2,000 clients in the transportation, life science, renewable energy and advanced manufacturing industries.

TRESCAL is a global leader in calibration services that offers an array of industries a single-source solution for calibration, measurement, repair, qualification, validation and asset management across the globe, with a headcount of over 4,900 people worldwide and activity exceeding 3.3 million operations every year.

Through this first acquisition in China, TRESCAL gains access to China’s vast calibration market and reinforces its presence in Asia to best serve its clients wherever they are located.

The team of LPA-CGR avocats (Shanghai) was composed of Hubert Bazin (Partner), Henrick Emeriau and Yun Zhang and assisted TRESCAL through the complete acquisition process until its finalisation.
