LPA-CGR avocats advises the STRAUMANN Group in the increase of its ownership stake in ANTHOGYR
Paris, 21st March 2019
LPA-CGR avocats has advised the Swiss group STRAUMANN, the global leader in dental and orthodontic solutions, in the increase of its ownership stake in the French company ANTHOGYR.
The STRAUMANN group acquired a 30% stake in ANTHOGYR following a successful partnership in 2016, which allowed it to expand internationally, particularly in China. The execution of the share purchase agreement with ANTHOGYR’s founding family will give STRAUMANN full ownership of ANTHOGYR.
ANTHOGYR, a company with 400 employees, is a well-established brand that develops, manufactures and sells innovative and high-quality implant solutions.
This transaction is expected to enable the STRAUMANN group to continue its international expansion with other brands of the group.
The LPA-CGR avocats team was composed of Julie Cittadini (Partner) and Michelle Wong (Associate) on M&A matters, Prudence Cadio (Partner) and Olivia Roche (Associate) with regard to IP aspects, Sophie Marinier (Counsel) on employment matters, Alexia Eskinazi (Partner) and Emeline Pietrucha (Associate) acting on matters related to Industrial Risks and Insurance, Emmanuel Tricot (Partner) for competition aspects and Jacques-Henry de Bourmont (Partner) in tax.
