LPA advises LHI Group on innovative financing for Stadler

Stadler will supply a total of 82 electric and hybrid-powered KISS and FLIRT multiple units for the Pfalznetz and the Warnow II, North-South, and Berlin-Stettin networks in Germany under four supply contracts with DB Regio in 2026 and 2027.

LHI Group, together with BayernLB, has structured an innovative financing arrangement under which BayernLB is providing the required funds together with UniCredit Bank and Landesbank Baden-Württemberg.

The LPA team was led by Andreas Feuerstein (Partner, Munich). The deal team also included Dorothea Schimmel (Local Partner, Munich).
