LPA-CGR avocats a conseillé Eiffage Énergie Systèmes dans le cadre de l’acquisition d’EQOS
LPA-CGR avocats advised Eiffage Énergie Systèmes on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of EQOS Energie Deutschland GmbH (EQOS) from Triton, aimed at strengthening its presence in Germany in the energy sector.
Specialised in the fields of energy transmission and distribution, telecommunications, and rail, EQOS offers a comprehensive range of services covering the entire value chain, from engineering to maintenance through installation. With nearly 1,700 employees across its 43 sites mainly in Germany and Austria, this company founded in 1920 achieved a turnover of 459 million in 2023.
Eiffage, one of the leading European players in construction and concessions, operates in various sectors including construction, real estate and urban development, civil engineering, metal, roads infrastructure, energy systems, and concessions. Its Energy Systems branch designs, builds, operates, and maintains electrical, industrial, climatic, and energy engineering systems and equipment. In 2023, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes achieved a revenue of 5.9 billion euros.
The acquisition enables Eiffage Énergie Systèmes to assert itself in the promising market of energy infrastructure in Germany, a dynamic sector undergoing major energy and digital transitions.
This transaction, which will be financed from cash available and is subject to approval by the European competition authorities, is scheduled for the end of 2024.
