Vincent also has extensive experience in the field of structured finance (securitisations of all types of receivables, factoring and secured fundings). He is regularly involved in the sale of non-performing loan portfolios (NPLs) and in matters related to the Securitisation Regulation.
Vincent joins LPA-CGR avocats’ Banking & Finance team, which currently comprises more than 15 lawyers, and will work closely with Xavier Clédat, Hassan Javanshir, Thomas Ehrecke, partners, Laurence Wynaendts, counsel, and their teams. His arrival completes the firm’s Banking-Finance offering, which covers regulatory aspects as well as real estate, acquisition and project finance, corporate finance, asset management, structured finance and banking and financial litigation.
Vincent Danton comments: “I am very pleased to join LPA-CGR avocats, a leading French law firm with a multidisciplinary and international scope, offering its clients resolutely innovative services that meet all their needs. In addition to complementing the firm’s banking and finance offering, we have identified numerous synergies with the other teams. Our expertise is very complementary as my areas of expertise frequently interact with regulated activities in which LPA-CGR is at the forefront, such as real estate, corporate, insurance, asset management and data”.
Sidonie Fraîche-Dupeyrat, Partner and President of the firm, adds, “The regulatory environment has become more complex since Brexit and the emergence of new players such as fintechs is densifying the offer of new banking and financial products, which values the profile of versatile lawyers in banking and financial regulation with strong transactional skills. Vincent’s profile is highly sought after by banks, large companies, and asset managers. Furthermore, his personality and dynamism convinced us! We are looking forward to his arrival!“.
With this arrival, the Paris office now has 40 partners.
