Dr. Gerhard Schwartz

Dr Gerhard Schwartz, Rechtsanwalt, is partner in the Munich office.

He primarily advises in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions and project finance. His main focus is on transactions in renewable energy projects and real estate. Furthermore, he advises fund managers and institutional clients with regard to regulatory law.

Gerhard accumulates a lot of expertise in adjacent fields as he led the corporate development department of a big German asset manager as well as co-founded a fund manager himself, which invested in off- and onshore wind projects for institutional investors. Additional to his role at LPA-GGV, Gerhard is also managing partner of a venture capital fund.

Gerhard was admitted to the German bar in 2006. After finishing his studies in Augsburg and Lausanne, he wrote his thesis in the field of capital market law. He is listed in Handelsblatt “Best Lawyers Germany” ranking for Corporate Law.
