Nishi-Nippon Railroad, a listed Japanese company and a major player in the international transportation and logistics industry has just announced the completion of its acquisition of 100% of the share capital and voting rights of Global Star International SAS in France.
Global Star International SAS, headquartered in Paris (Roissy) provides general logistics service, including air/ocean international transportation and has branch offices in Le Havre and Marseille.
Global Star International SAS becomes a subsidiary of Nishi-Nippon Railroad and will operate its activities under the new corporate name NNR GLOBAL LOGISTICS FRANCE SAS. The operations will continue to be managed by Mr. Alain Bernard, one of its former shareholders.
With this new acquisition, Nishi-Nippon Railroad is now present in 27 countries and 113 cities all over the world.
