Kosuke Oie appointed as Officer of the Human Rights Law Committee at the International Bar Association

We are pleased to announce that Kosuke OIE, attorney-at-law in Japan and partner at LPA Tokyo,  has joined the Human Rights Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) as a Scholarship Officer, effective April 2025.
The IBA, established in 1947, is the world’s leading organisation of international legal practitioners, bar associations and law societies. It plays a key role in shaping international legal reform and the future of the legal profession globally.
Kosuke advises international businesses on dispute resolution and regulatory matters while also representing individuals in labor, immigration, family, and criminal cases in Japan. He actively promotes human rights through his work with bar associations, NGOs, and international organizations, including the JFBA and IMADR.
In his new role, Kosuke will further advance his longstanding commitment to human rights by fostering collaboration with foreign bar associations and strengthening his international engagement.
